|Recommended: YesOverall happy with the company — Living here is simple, no strings attached, very well informed, and over all a great first apartment experience.
response from property -Thank you for your review!
|Recommended: YesSome things could be repainted for aesthetics. — It’s a nice and affordable place.
Thank you for your review!
|Recommended: YesIt is ok for the price it is — It is good place near downtown but still can have a quiet living area
|Recommended: YesGood Enough, Could use some updates — The location and the apartment itself are decent and well worth the price. However, the windows and some of the furniture in the apartments could use some updates as they are quite worn down and in need of a replacement. Overall the apartment is good, Its a nice place to live for semesters at Penn State.
|Recommended: YesPenn State Apartments Review — The apartment is spacious for three people and gets good natural lighting. Keep in mind the units are different sizes. All of the appliances work properly. The apartment was not intensively cleaned before we moved in and we had a slight issue with the toilet. Overall though a good place to live and relatively expensive for single rooms. One of the rooms is significantly larger than the other two. No elevator.
|Recommended: YesOld and getting dilapidated — price is great, most utilities included but trying to get high quality maintenance completed on the old place in need of renovation is a challenge
Thank you for your review.
|Recommended: YesA solid, affordable place to live that isn't too far from campus — I would tell them that Penn State Apartments its a pretty nice place to live. The rent is completely reasonable, the furniture that came with the apartment was quality and in great condition, and the walk to campus really isn't that bad.

|Recommended: NoGreat location, but you need to make compromises — It's in a great spot and you get your own bedrooms, but there are a couple of downsides. You pay a lot for a parking pass so you can park your car in a lot where it is more than likely to get hit. The spots are just too small for people with larger vehicles and some of the people end up scratching your car in the end. There are many outlets that are only 2 prong instead of the 3 that many people need. This is something that desperately needs to be updated as plugging in multiple electronics into adapters can be very dangerous. If you use the microwave and any other appliance in the kitchen, the entire kitchen's power goes out. This is a minor complaint, but the door locks should be updated from the troublesome keycards they currently use. It almost feels like the complex has not been updated in twenty years even though it needs it. Overall, the apartment has many flaws, but it is enough to get by.
Thank you for your review. I will forward your concerns to our building maintenance team. Have a great day!

Mauricio,
Please read all the emails from maintenance and the marketing team that come to you in your resident portal and the email you gave us on file, there are communications and heads ups and important information in there. You can always call during business hours and the 24-hour emergency maintenance if you are experiencing a problem. If we don't know there is a problem we cannot help fix what you are experiencing at times so please know someone may not have called in yet so don't hesitate to do so yourself. Our residents are our eyes and ears living on the front lines... we are the calvary that comes in to help once we know.
Please understand power outages due to mother nature's weather cannot be controlled by anyone but mother nature. What we can do is help correct what she left behind when she is done.

|Recommended: YesPenn State Apartments review — I love living at Penn State Apartments. It's not the most luxurious apartment but it sure feels like home. Its a great value for the price and is in a quality location in relation to campus. I would recommend this complex to anyone that is interested.
|Recommended: YesGreat Apartment — I love living in my apartment. It is reasonably priced and has everything I need and more. Maintenance is very on top of things and I have only ever had minor issues.
Thank you so much Lydia! We're glad we can provide you with excellent service!
|Recommended: NoI consider this property well-furnished and good for an accommodation — Good location, good quality for mentioned price.
|Recommended: YesWell landscaped, new floors. — Quiet location, nicely maintained.
|Recommended: NoOver priced, little space, with no ammenities — Neighbors are extremely loud within the apartment because the walls and floors are thin. Our kitchen was as small as a closet. Bathroom was a mold trap with decor from the 80s. Laundry was in the basement and includes 3 washers and 3 dryers, that only take credit cards, and usually don't work properly. Parking was an added and expensive cost. Rent goes up substantially every year. THE INTERNET IS TERRIBLE If you have to take an exam online, go to campus. When there are inspections the maintenance crew just walks into the apartment. The fire alarms go off if you get a shower, or for no reason at all. The only plus about this place is that it is under 10 minutes to campus as well as to blue and white loops.
|Recommended: YesA nice environment close to downtown — a great place to live
